one that can be trusted with consumers money - a regulated utility-grade platform for electronic transactions, and one that protects the account holder from bank fraud such as overdraft fees, and other dishonest behavior by those facilitating electronic purchases. otherwise we should all simply remove our money from these institutions and use CASH.
Modernize the IRS to allow individuals who have grievances about how an IRS case is handled to make the process less paper-intensive and more due-process oriented. The overwhelming perception that the current system is a virtually "closed process" where extagent circumstances cannot be discussed prior to full compliance, a formal hearing delays handling enormously and case resolutions are inflexible.
do away with the IRS and filing every year, and just institute a flat consumption tax. Rich people who buy more will pay more taxes, poorer people who don't spend as much will pay less tax. This will also encourage personal savings, (the only way to get a tax break) something the American population has to little of.

Federal Tax Return Data of residents should be made available directly to city tax departments. At present this information is only available in Ohio at least through agencies such as RITA with lobbying power.
Implement a searchable database of every expenditure of federal money. Allow full search of every check written by the Treasury, searchable by date, department, district, and authorizing law. Obviously some expenditures would need to be aggregated for security or privacy reasons, but this very concept has already been implemented by banks and credit card companies for personal accounts. The same level of visibility... more »
